Long Melford Hall makes a great venue for the Bride & Groom wedding photos
Outside Long Melford Hall makes a great venue for the Bride & Groom wedding photos after the ceremony at Hannah & Rob’s wedding.
Today we join Hannah & Rob for the Bride & Groom portraits following on from previous articles starting with bridal preparations and then the wedding ceremony.
It is always a great relief after the ceremony for everyone but especially for the Bride & Groom. This is a time when the newly weds can start to relax and look forward to all the fun celebrations to follow shortly.

It is also a great time to escape all the hustle and bustle for a while and go off with the wedding photographer for some photos together.
We usually spend some time together after the group photos with family & friends but on this occasion we did the Bride & Groom photos first. As all the festivities were at the same location the wedding car was only for a short time after the ceremony.
Hannah & Rob wanted to go to the entrance of the Long Melford Hall for their wedding photos. We all bundled into the Rolls Royce wedding car for the five minute drive up the road from The Bull.
We drove into the car park to turn round and and go back out to the entrance but I noticed Long Melford Hall in the background and asked the driver to park opposite. Once parked up, the drive serviced chilled champaign to the newly weds. We probably spent about ten minutes there before I got Hannah & Rob to walk slowly down the path towards the entrance gates.
At the entrance gate, I popped across the road to take a few more pictures of Hannah & Rob before heading back to the car and returning to their guests. It was only then that I realised there was a car park attendant at the gate house. She was very nice about the it and smiled as we drove off again.
This reminds me of what the presenters said on the SWPP seminar in January, “don’t ask, just do it!”. If you get disturbed, leave, have a laugh and then go back later when it’s quietened down again

Everyone was waiting back at The Bull for the newly weds to arrive. We quickly got everyone organised into two rows ready with the confetti. Alex the videographer, camer@on, was behind me on camera right, which is the black object that can be seen in the bottom right hand corner of the last two images
In the next article I will try and complete the wedding, continuing with the group shots, speeches and a grand finally with their first dance. But with so many great images to chose from it may go in to two articles
Go to bridal preparations and the wedding ceremony to see some more images taken earlier in the day. You can also continue the wedding day with the first dance.
