50′s style Pin-up Photography is making a resurgence
Everywhere you look now you will see that the 50s have made a huge comeback whether it is collectibles, clothing styles or of course the wonderful 50′s Pin up.
Pin-up photography is sometimes referred to as cheesecake photography that often involved making paintings from photographs. Below are few examples that recapture the nostalgia of the era of vintage glamour.
As you’ll see the make-up is quite stark with dark lip stick and often false eye lashes. The artistic enhancement is also starker with vivid colours and strong contrast to create beautiful photographs that really grab your attention.

Pin-up photography is fun and saucy. The Union flag and military hat are great accessories you can use for your vintage glamour photography.

Pin-up photography can be minimalist to give greater emphasis on the subject.

I used strong contrast in this photograph to create a very striking image.

The studio red corset is a genuine (supposedly) 50s garment and is suitable for ladies between size 12 and 14.

I've created the classic cheesecake look for this photography. The umbrella is another studio prop that adds greatly to the pin-up look.
