Real Wedding Photography at the Athenaeum, Bury St Edmonds, Suffolk
Following Kate & Anthony’s wedding ceremony the wedding photography continued at their reception. The wedding reception was held at the Athenaeum Bury St Edmonds Suffolk.
Originally we had planned to go to the beautiful Abbey Gardens across the road for some photos of the Bride & Groom together. However the weather closed in after the ceremony with cold wind and rain. It was only possible for a few pictures with their wedding car before retreating into the Athenaeum. It was also starting to get dark outside.
Once inside Kate & Anthony received the wedding breakfast. I photographed the initial guests before leaving to prepare an area for the group photographs.
We took the group photos inside a room by the front foyer. The group shots were lit using my flashguns remotely. I later used a similar set up to photograph Kate & Anthony together after their meal. Remote flashguns were also used to light the first Bride & Groom dance.
