Trash The Dress continued down by the river
Following on from the previous Trash The Dress article where Michelle started down by the river in a Bridal gown. We returned to the river after she had changed into her summer dress. This was the dress that Michelle wanted to go into the river with.
As a side note, a reader asked why Michelle did not trash the wedding dress.
Despite often being referred to as “Trash the Dress”, there is no need to literally trash the dress. Indeed most people don’t. This “Next Day Shoot” is all about dressing up, being photographed in unusual places and having lots of fun.
It was still drizzling but this did not deter Michelle. She did take shelter under an umbrella while I got the camera ready though. I had not appreciated how much the tree trunk was leaning earlier. It would have made a perfect prop for the bridal gown. Michelle was sporting and went up the tree in the summer dress before venturing down into the river.
The river bank was quite high up from the river. I thought I was going to have to roll up my trousers and go in as well. Luckily for me there was a beach (if you can call it that) that was just about wide enough to stand on in my shoes. Then I realized neither of us had thought to bring a towel – ha ha!
As you can see below we had a blast and Michelle was in no hurry to get out of the freezing water…
