I am delighted that this image got a bronze award for contemporary portraiture in last month’s SWPP competition.
The image was taken on a recent commission for a photo shot at several locations. It was inspired by some of the recent competition entries in the SWPP competitions. The SWPP define Contemporary Portraiture as:
“Images which show a different approach, innovative styling. Non-traditional posing or lighting, or use of an unconventional location. No wedding shots permitted.”
Um, wonder if it would have fared better entered under another category…
