Lorna and Barry got married in Milton House Registry Office in Stowmarket, Suffolk in 2007. This is the smallest wedding I’ve done as they only wanted me to cover their wedding ceremony at the registry office. Usually all weddings start with the bridal preparations, which I really enjoy as it gives a chance for the bride to get used to being photographed before the ceremony.
My day started with Barry and the wedding guest arrivals. This gave a cold start with photographing Lorna’s arrival but everything worked out well.
There ceremony was very nice and personal.
As you can see in the wedding photos they make a wonderful couple. And it was a pleasure to be their wedding photographer for the day.
Their wedding reception was at the Rushmere Sports & Social Club, which is very close to where I live so I stayed on to get some more photos for them.
When Lorna and Barry came to select their photos for the wedding album I had my first ever complaint. Barry complained that the wedding photos were too good, which put them in a difficult position for selecting the images for the album. This is a problem all my wedding couples have. I helped them narrow down their selection more and they bought a few extra prints.
A few weeks later they came to collect their album and were very pleased with it. The cost of a few extra prints was long since forgotten and they left very happy.
