On Monday I went on location with Miss T in Felixstowe for a glamour photo shoot.  We had a great afternoon.  Pictures may paint a thousand words but it won’t tell our story and some or the pros and cons we encountered.

Photographing on location is a lot of fun but you never know what will happen on the day.  All the best laid plans can go straight out the window so it’s vital to be able to think on your feet.

We had expected it to be sunny and I’d ask her to bring a pair of sunglasses.  However by lunchtime the clouds rolled in and it remained overcast with the odd shower :-)

Miss T hoped to go topless but our first location proved too busy.  We hoped the bad weather would put people off going to the beach.  But when a family set up a picnic near by we knew it was time to move on  :-)

Miss T’s boyfriend met us at the beach and suggested going to the other end of Felixstowe where it would be quiet.  After a five minute drive we arrived at a car park and got ready to shoot on the beach.

However when we got on the promenade we saw people preparing to go wind surfing.  We decided to walk along the promenade and find a quiet spot.  But we then came across several people fishing from the beach.  Eventually we found a quiet spot and set up camp.

Felixstowe is not a picturesque beach but the new sea defences looked interesting with its large rocks.  I suggested we start off by photographing on the rocks.  Once the lights were set up we took a few pictures before Miss T went topless.

Everything was clear and we were ready to go.  However I soon became aware of an approaching yacht.  The yacht came so close I thought he was going to land it on the beach.  It only turned what seemed like moments before it would have run aground.

Despite the weather turning and the unpredictability of shooting in public places, Miss T thoroughly enjoyed her Inner Beauty Experience.  We all had a lot of fun and came away with a great story and of course some fantastic pictures.

The pictures may not be suitable for work – view on the NEXT PAGE.
