Bride and groom make evocative imagery in the bridal suite

The bridal suite makes an excellent location for bride and groom contemporary wedding photography for winter and inclement weather weddings.

After Laura and Phil’s wedding ceremony and traditional wedding group photos, we headed up to their bridal suite. The Bull Hotel Long Melford Suffolk has an atmospheric bridal suite with its oak beams and low level lighting. The four poster bed is really the icing on the cake.

It was around 5:30pm, so as you can imagine it was pitch black outside with a December wedding. We had already taken a few traditional and contemporary wedding photos both inside and outside The Bull by this time.

We tried a few different things to create the romance and atmosphere as you’d imagine for a bridal suite. My favourite picture is the opening picture at the top of this page, which I’d visualised before.

You have to imagine it’s your wedding night and you’re ready to receive your groom. Your beauty captivates your groom as he comes from the bathroom and he pauses for a moment in the doorway. Isn’t that what you evocative wedding imagery?

We also did a few on my standard wedding photography poses before we ran out of time. Unfortunately they couldn’t have their full FREE hour of wedding photography as the telephone rang. Their wedding breakfast was ready!
