Wedding Photographers Called Out

Wedding Photographer Suffolk

Professional wedding photographers called out for using unprofessional photographic equipment and prints by Judge Joe Brown. And producing unprofessional wedding photography.

This is a topic that I’ve touched on several times to help you avoid the dangers to ruin your wedding photography. Yet this is a classic mistake many brides are still making. Brides continue to hire their wedding photographers based purely on price. But they forget to ask; why are they so cheap and where are they cutting corners?

Will your wedding be a horror story?

Check out Judge Joe Brown’s video below. It would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic for the bride who regretted her wedding photography.

Hi Pat, that video is a good find, Though it is in the states, the Uk has its own alleged professional photographers who have been highlighted as below standard, even one which was a member of the SWPP, but not after his performance.

With the growing numbers of so called professional photographers popping up and a few simple searches on their backgrounds showing that they have never photographed a wedding, but assisted or took some at a friends wedding through to those who are hiring models to pose for them so they can pretend to have experience like us professional wedding photographers with a large investment in our kit and education to provide a true professional service.

I can hold a camera at much slower speeds than many photographers, but I know my limits and use my tripod too, I certainly don’t own any entry level camera or package lenses.

Great video and I have put it on my Facebook page so that more people can see and learn about booking a professional photographer with realistic prices to provide a quality service.

  • Hi Rory,

You are so right. And although it is a US based video it may warn buyers of some of the dangers of using amateur photographers and yes even certain professionals.

    Pat
