Wedding photography Belstead Brook Hotel

Wedding Photographer Suffolk
Beautiful bride posing for formal wedding photographs in the foyer of the Belstead Brook Hotel.

This is the concluding part of Jamie and Rob’s wedding photography sees us return to Belstead Brook Hotel Ipswich, Suffolk.

If you missed previous posts from their wedding, it started with bridal preparations at Belstead Brook Hotel followed by Essex wedding photography at St Michaels in Brantham.

When Jamie and Rob arrived at Belstead Brook Hotel for their wedding reception, the sun was close to setting and the temperature was dropping fast.  We had just a couple of minutes outside before going indoors when I prepared for their group photographs.

I cleared an area in the hotel reception and set up the lighting ready for their formal wedding photographs.  The hotel allowed us to use the whole foyer.  This meant the ushers could gather many guests at once thus enabling fast execution of the formal photographs.  The fireplace also provides a fabulous background for a sense of grandeur.

After the initial standing formal photographs with the bride and groom, I got a chair for Jamie. This looks very elegant in the subsequent group wedding photographs.

I brought in additional arm chairs for a few of the larger wedding groups. As well as being elegant, it looks relaxed and enables depth without loosing people at the back.

Although we did a mock cake cutting prior to the guest coming to the main hall, I thought I'd finish with this fun photograph of the bride and groom being photographed during the actual cake cutting.
