Boudoir Photography & Glamour Photography Seminar at the SWPP Convention

I have just received confirmation of my place on a Boudoir Photography & Glamour Photography all day Seminar at the SWPP Convention January 2009. Every year the SWPP hold a convention in London that are packed full of training on every aspect of training in photography and business. Last year I did a course on Wedding Photography with one of the world’s top wedding photographers Doug Gordon, however this year I shall be taking additional training in Boudoir and Glamour photography.
Trevor and Faye Yerbury are very successful photographers from Scotland in both wedding and boudoir photographer winning universal acclaim for their contemporary style. They will be talking about their boudoir photography.
Damian McGillicuddy is the only photographer to have won United Kingdom master photographer of the year 5 times and won 11 United Kingdom awards of excellence. And in 2001 he was given the prestigious honour of being proclaimed 68th Photographer fellow. He will be discussing his glamour photograph style.
I am sure the two styles will be very different but also very inspiring for my boudoir and glamour photography and help me attain the next level through the continuous cycle of improvement. It will also give me new ideas to build upon what I learnt on a Seminar with internationally photographer Mark Laurie who specialises in female boudoir, nude photography etc.

I decided to have a go at Wedding Photography in 2006 when I enrolled on an intensive wedding photography course. In 2007 I did a foundation wedding course with the BIPP, British Institute of Professional Photography and joined the SWPP and enrolled on its “Mentor Me” program. Through the weddings of 2007 I gained my Licentiate with the SWPP. In June 2008 I refined my skill still further with a very high level intensive wedding course in Spain with Illuminatus The Academy of Photography with my SWPP mentor Martin Graham-Dunn.
My images have been published by publications including; IPC Media, ICM Media, Icon Publications, BBC web site, Archant, BikeSport News Ltd, www.twowheelsontrack.com , Squires Kitchen Magazine Publishing (Wedding Dresses), to name but a few.
