Suffolk photographer captures 50s style wedding with their Cadillac wedding car.
Lottie and Gareth got married in August.
Officially I stopped photographing weddings last year. However, I took on their wedding after hearing the wedding photographer they booked and paid had disappeared. His Facebook page, email address and telephone numbers were all unavailable.
Lottie and Gareth e a lovely couple and it was a pleasure to capture their big day for them.
Lottie and Gareth love the vintage glamour of the 50s and this set the theme of their wedding. They were both delighted with their Cadillac wedding car.

Suffolk photographer scoops two awards for Asian wedding photography.
The first is Highly Commended for avant-garde wedding photography. And the second received Highly Commended in SWPP’s Open Avant Garde category.
New for this year, The Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers, SWPP, introduced new categories for Avant Garde art forms of photography. They’ve dropped categories such as contemporary wedding photography.
According to wikipedia avant-garde is experimental or innovative especially for art, culture and politics. Many consider avant-garde as the hallmark of modernism so is subtly different from contemporary photography.

Avant-Garde Open Photography - Highly Commended. The bridal party wait for the groom and family to arrive. He has to pay to enter after much bartering between the two groups.

Avant-Garde Wedding Photography - Highly Commended. The bridal party feed the groom as part of the wedding celebration ritual.

Suffolk wedding photographer covers Abbi and Damon’s wedding ceremony at Holy Trinity church Long Melford following Abbi’s bridal preparations.
Holy Trinity is a grand location for the wedding ceremony. It was perfect for Abbi and Damon’s wedding as their wedding reception was literally a stones throw away.
