What is your approach?
Pat covers each wedding as a one off event capturing images to tell the complete story of your wedding. He blends stylish contemporary & traditional imagery with real life photojournalist / reportage wedding photography.
Pat uses a system to create the dream wedding with evocative imagery. Combine this with Pat’s ability to capture decisive moments as they unfold and you have the complete story of your wedding with amazing results!
This approach leaves you with a true story of your wedding without spending hours in front of the camera.
Pat’s priority on the day is the bride and to fully capture her story as the day unfolds with a mix of natural imagery and created works of art.
Pat is happy to shoot weddings of all sizes, faiths and of course Civil Partnerships as well.
Do you cover winter weddings?
Yes most definitely.
Pat photographs all year round and loves taking advantage of the stunning atmosphere that winter brings.
Do you travel?
No problem. I enjoy the challenge of photographing at new locations.
Travel & Substance has been changed to reflect the current volatile fuel prices. In order to keep wedding package prices down all mileage is now charged at 40p per mile.
Subsistence for parking, tolls, food and accommodation etc. will be charged at cost. We will endeavor to keep accommodation costs down to reasonable levels. It is your responsibility to reserve a parking place within reasonable distance of all venues to maximize the time I will be there to photograph you.
I will require accommodation for any venues over 80 miles (dependent on location and time of wedding) from Ipswich to ensure I am fresh to carry out your wedding photography.
Can we have any formal pictures?
Yes, of course.
Pat prefers to keep a low profile during much of the day, however appreciates that most clients require a small number of relaxed family photographs
I recommend that group shots are limited to the immediate bridal party and close family and friends without going in to a never ending group photograph session is boring for you, your guests and not least for me!
Therefore I recommend no more than eight formal groups that can be completed in under 20 minutes, which can be achieved with the help of the usher(s) or other close family member or friend – and of course the full cooperation of your guests.
Of course if there are any special requests or particular shots required, Pat is very happy to oblige as he feels that it is Your Wedding and they are Your Photographs.
Who will the photographer at our wedding?
Your wedding will be personally photographed by Pat.
This approach ensures you get the very best attention and quality before, during and after your wedding day.
Can we have both black & white and colour photography?
Most definitely! Images are shot in colour and any can be converted to pure black & white, sepia or a mix with colour.
Can guests order reprints after the wedding?
Yes. Guests can order pictures from those offered to you for your Wedding Album from our website. These will be made available shortly after your selection has been made. Full details will be supplied.
How do we make our selection?
We do not issue proof prints, instead your selection is made with a multimedia presentation in our home studio. Presentation will be ready for you within three weeks on return from your honeymoon. You will be the first to see the selection of images from your wedding.
We will perform the album design from your selected images with a stylish selection of black & white, sepia and colour images to give the best effect for any given image. Hybrid images with black & white or sepia with colour can be created, see our image manipulation charges.
What style of album do you use?
We only use top quality wedding albums hand made in the UK by Versatile Albums. A full range of albums are available for you to choose from. See our various wedding packages for details of the standard albums included in that package. You may upgrade albums at anytime or switch to an album made by another manufacturer if you wish, which would require an individual quote.
Can you post our album?
Yes. For the majority of albums this costs £30 per album up to 10Kg in weight. The albums are insured and can be delivered to your place of work during office hours, for your convenience.
Can we make changes to the wedding package?
Yes, absolutely. The packages provide a guide to different levels of coverage and styles of albums. The level of coverage can be upgraded up until the wedding and the albums can be upgraded when the images are selected as can the number of pictures to be included.
Are you insured?
Yes. PatB Photography is fully insured for both Public Liability and Indemnity insurance. It is a condition of the Indemnity insurance that a wedding form with Terms & Conditions are agreed and signed by you.
